About John Bellon Jr.
Before embarking on his journey as a professional magician/mentalist, John set foot on many stages as a working drummer and percussionist. He toured throughout the United States, recorded in Europe and appeared on the popular nationally syndicated television show Star Search three times. In early 2000, he shifted musical gears and began to write, produce and play on several children’s CDs which he still pursues until this day. 
In 1994, John teamed up with magical entertainer, “Amore”, with whom he performed thousands of magic shows ranging from children to adult events, and gained invaluable experience and professionalism along the way. John has performed at private parties, corporate events, civic functions, public events, school programs, churches, temples as well as state parks, festivals, hospitals and weddings. He continues to write, produce, play and perform, always developing new and exciting projects for the public to experience and enjoy.

Close-Up Walk-Around Magic
Close-up magic is a chance to experience magic, up close and personal, taking place within the hands of the spectator. The stage is set, literally on the table itself, as many mind-bending effects unfold with playing cards, coins, as well as everyday ordinary objects. John will politely approach the guests blending both slight-of- hand magic and mind reading. This type of entertainment is appropriate for large groups of people seated at tables or standing in a more informal environment. Close-up magic is a strong approach to breaking the ice and stimulating conversation amongst people at a social event or party.
